Thank you for your interest in the Bluejay Beginnings Preschool Program that the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District is offering. This program is available to families that have children between the ages of 3 and 4. The preschool program allows parents to enroll children with and without disabilities in an early childhood classroom for the purpose of providing ongoing, meaningful interaction among children with disabilities and children without disabilities.
Classes will meet four days a week for a half-day. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday-Friday 8:30-11:30am
OR
Tuesday-Friday 12:30-3:30pm
The 4-year-old program is funded by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program which means there is no cost to families. Students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) please contact the school for further information about services.
A monthly tuition (Sept.-May) of $150 for the 3-year-old program is due at first of each month. To make an online payment, please use the Payschools link at the top of this page. Lottery Registration
Registration for Bluejay Beginnings Preschool will include a lottery. Parents/Guardians may turn in a completed lottery form to Anderson Elementary Office to place their child on the lottery list for a slot in the AM or PM class. Upon acceptance parents have 30 days to complete a pre-registration form and return it with a $50 non-refundable preschool fee. Check the Preschool Lottery tab for more information.
Eligibility
A child must be 3-years-old on or before September 15 of the current school year and be potty trained to be accepted into the 3- year-old program. Students attending the 4-year-old program must by 4-years- old on or before September 15, of the current school year. Preschool is open to students who reside within the Bondurant-Farrar School district.
